You will have time to discover the surrounding area which is rich in historical attractions such as Avignon, the Pope’s Palace and the Roman aqueducts. Fabulous landscapes, exceptional light (there was a reason van Gogh came to the South!) and the singing of the cicadas will bring you peace and offer an appreciation of this exquisite region of France. You will be charmed by the colorful markets and warm people. Discover the French way of life with a sunny twist!
You will partake in a hands-on Provençal cookery class based on sun-kissed vegetables and fruits, thyme, rosemary, garlic and basil. Groups are small, two to six people, to offer more personal attention. You will prepare your own dinners in a way all Provençal women (and men) do, without professional equipment but with a Provençal heart. The dishes prepared will be a pleasant, more than expected, discovery in flavour - "Frenchy" but easy to re-create once back home .
