SAMPLE ITINERARY - FIVE NIGHT PROGRAM
day one

Morning arrival at Udine train station. Transfer to your B&B by private vehicle. Check-in and free time to explore the surroundings before your first cooking lesson followed by a delicious dinner of your creations. Overnight stay. Day Two
Breakfast followed by a morning cooking class learning 3-4 different recipes followed by lunch. Enjoy an afternoon guided visit of your host town, Cividale. Founded by Julius Caesar around 50 BC, this charming little town is known for its delicious Gubana, top class wines and lively atmosphere that you can breathe strolling around the narrow cobble stone streets in search of the many traces of its glorious past! Visit to a winery and wine tasting. Dinner at a local restaurant followed by an overnight stay. Day three
Breakfast. Full-day free for independent sightseeing. We shall be glad to offer assistance in suggesting things to do, and places to visit. (Possible guided excursion to nearby Slovenia – 30 minutes by car – for a lovely hike along the emerald-green Soca river and koziak falls and visit to the famous Kobarid War Museum).
Overnight stay. Day four
Breakfast followed by your third cooking lesson and lunch of your creations. Departure to Aquileia for an afternoon guided visit of this Roman jewel, the most important archaeological site in northern Italy. You'll see the forum, remains of public baths and private houses, Roman roads with visible chariot tracks and the ancient Basilica which hosts stunning Byzantine frescoes and one of the largest and most spectacular early-Christian mosaic floors of the West! Return to your accommodation in the late afternoon. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay. Day five
Breakfast and then a visit to the local market followed by your fourth cooking lesson. Preparation of 3-4 different recipes followed by lunch of your creations. An afternoon guided visit of Udine, an enchanting city in the heart of Friuli with a distinctive Venetian flavor. Its beautiful castle located on a hilltop offers wonderful views over the town and the unique countryside with the gorgeous Alps on the background. Return to your accommodation in the late afternoon. Dinner at a local restaurant.
