This 7 day walking adventure encompasses the true highlights of this fascinating region of Spain. The tour follows the ancient smugglers’ paths, known as the ‘Cami de Ronda’, along the stunning coastal scenery of the Costa Brava. Each headland offers incredible views up and down this beautiful coast as well as giving you plenty of opportunities to dine in the restaurants along the way to fully savour the real flavours of the Mediterranean Sea.
ITINERARY Day One  Arrival from Barcelona or Girona to Sant Feliu de Guixols.
You will spend your day relaxing and enjoying the surroundings of Sant Feliu de Guixols. Day Two ‘ Cami de Ronda’ walking route from Sant Feliu – Palamos Approx. walking distance: 13 km A beautiful headland walk that follows the ‘Cami de Ronda’ (the old smugglers paths) coastal path along some of the most picturesque bays of the Costa Brava. Day three  ‘Cami de Ronda’ walking route from Palamos – Llafranc
Approx. walking distance: 13 km A stunning coastal walk that takes in some of the best coastal scenery on the Costa Brava. Llafranc is a pretty coastal village that has maintained its original charms. Enjoy a gourmet meal this evening at The Hotel Llevant in Llafranc. This family run hotel has been in the same family for several generations. The hotel restaurant prepares quality fresh seafood meals that are bought daily from the seafood market in Palamos. Day four  Free day to explore Llafranc and surrounding areas
A day to explore at your leisure the beautiful surroundings of Llafranc. A walk along the Cami de Ronda to Tamariu is a stunning option. Dinner this evening at The Hotel Llevant in Llafranc. Day Five  ‘GR 92’ walking route from Llafranc - Begur Approx. walking distance: 10 km Following the ‘Grand Route 92’ walking route that starts to meander inland away from the coast through the Pine forests towards the village of Begur. Enjoy a wonderful meal this evening at The Bliss Hotel in Begur - The Hotel restaurant Primo Piatto - A rustic stone walled restaurant with modern furnishings. Their specilalities are Italian dishes seasoned with fresh herbs. Day Six  ‘GR 92’ circular coastal walking route of Begur Approx. walking distance: 10 km A beautiful walk exploring the stunning coastal and interior scenery of the Begur area. Dinner again this evening at the hotel restaurant Primo Piatto. Day Seven  Explore surroundings of Begur and departure
A leisurely morning spent exploring the medieval centre of Begur before departing to Barcelona. Additional Information· *The average walking time per day ranges from 3 – 5 hours *The terrain encompasses both flat open beaches as well as hilly headland and forest sections. All trails are marked with the GR-92 Red and White walking symbol. Suggested clothes to bring for walks:· *Good quality walking shoes and walking poles *Lightweight and breathable jacket *Light, comfortable and ‘breathable’ layers to either put on or take off depending on changing weather conditions *A small day pack and water bottle BOOKING INFORMATION
