Customize Your Tour

Don't see exactly what you are looking for in a culinary holiday on our website? Perhaps we can customize something for you! Usually a minimum number of participants may be required to do so but please let us know what you might be interested in. In many cases, we will be able to specially design an itinerary for you including some or all of the elements you require.

Additonally, please keep in mind that many of the program itineraries you see on the website may be able to be revised. For example, you may wish to have more or less cooking classes, you may want to add a wine tour, remove an activity or add an extra yoga class or another excursion. Simply inquire and we will let you know if your request might be possible for the tour you are looking at.

In any event we will do our best to recommend the perfect culinary getaway for you!

May 2007 - May is a great time for a holiday and many of you are either booking an excursion now, or you are already on holiday. March 2007 - March weather got you down? Start planning a great gourmet getaway with Active Gourmet Holidays. February 2007 - Love, Love, LOVE to cook? We do, too! In the February newsletter, Active Gourmet Holidays shared many new gourmet getaways. Active Gourmet Holidays was also recently featured in the December issue of Yoga Journal and the February issue of Home Living Connecticut. the GOURMET RECIPE OF THE MONTH - From SECRET LE MARCHE was Spiced Oatcake.

January 2007 - In January, many of us decide to kick back and relax after a hectic holiday season. In the January newsletter the GOURMET RECIPE OF THE MONTH - From COOKING IN VENICE WITH GIULIANO HAZAN was Salmone Aromatico al Cartoccio.

December 2006 - December is a full month for most of us -- and for active gourmets especially so! In the December newsletter the GOURMET RECIPE OF THE MONTH - From LA BOTTEGA del TRENTA COOKING SCHOOL was Puree of Chick Pea Soup with Croutons. Happy Holidays!

November 2006 - November was a busy month. Along with several new tours, we offered the GOURMET RECIPE OF THE MONTH - PROVENCAL GOURMAND Tian de Courge/Potimaron - Baked Squash.

October 2006 - In October we rediscovered a love for calamari with GOURMET RECIPE OF THE MONTH - SECRET LE MARCHE CALAMARI AL BASILICIA, AGLIO E OLIO. Also, Active Gourmet Holidays introduced six new tours.

September 2006 - This month Active Gourmet Holidays introduced a substantial amount of new tours (nine!) and our GOURMET RECIPE OF THE MONTH from the RHODE SCHOOL OF CUISINE - HOT CHOCOLATE FONDANT PUDDING, was very well received.
